WCH built our forever dream home. We had built homes before, but never a custom home. When going over our plans, he suggested things we would never have thought of. When we were unsure about a decision(s) , Jacob gave options and his expert advice. When we had questions (no matter how trivial), Jacob responded in a timely manner. We felt our best interest was always a priority to WCH. Neighbors love our tub/shower room, the wood box and the dual pantry. We highly recommend WCH.

We designed and built our home with Wendt Custom Homes and the experience was a very positive one from start to finish. Jacob Wendt was easy to work with, listened and heard us regarding all aspects of the design and build process, and offered suggestions to help guide us to what we were looking for in our new home. In addition, Jacob was very professional, ethical, and consistently showed great pride in his work. Everything was completed with a high degree of quality and craftmanship. Jacob and team are amazing. Very reasonable unlike other home builders. Jacob is available past 5 pm unlike other builders, and also on weekends. This is important especially when you are like us and work monday through friday. Jacob and his team are friendly, and find ways to make things happen, even with a tight budget. The quality of craftsmanship is superior to their competitors, and you receive a premium product at more than a fair price. That's a big deal. What makes wendt custom homes stand out is just that, you receive a custom home. You get to make all the decisions, and they are there to help guide you in the right direction, making the process so much easier. We decided to build a workshop, and they are able to do this too, making it a one stop shop. Another thing that really stands out is patience. We have had struggles making decisions on certain things, and Jacob was right there to provide quality advice.
Need less to say we are very happy with Wendt homes, and highly recommend anyone looking to build a custom home to use Wendt. We talked to many different builders, and Jacob and team was a clear choice.

We chose Jacob Wendt to build our custom built home after a Realtor that we have known for decades told us of his eye to detail and that she recommended we take a look at some of the homes he had built in Peaster. The quality that we observed prior to our house being built is the quality and respectful communication that we experienced all throughout our build. Our land was 30 feet higher in the front than the back of our property that could have left us with a very expensive problem however Jacob and his excavator worked diligently to solve our water drainage issues and navigating the property without concrete stairs that would have been difficult for us to navigate safely. Our home is gorgeous and even though this was not our first custom built home, it was absolutely a blessing that we had Jacob to guide us through times such as these. It was by far less stressful having Jacob as our builder. He is honest, professional, patiently educational when needed and has remained diligent about addressing any areas we needed further discussion on to understand. My husband even calculated out how much we spent and will spend due to the higher interest rates of our times with the rise in cost to build and home values rising in our area due to the housing shortage that's ever increasing and concluded that we were by far better off having a tighter budget until we refinance than if we had decided to wait out the high interest rates and waiting to build. It would have been a costly mistake to allow a quick look at the budget and made a decision just from that stand point. We sold our home in Arizona and made close to $300,000. in just six years time because of the sharp rise in home values there before we sold and came back to Texas upon my husband retiring. It's not an exact science however when in the DFW area, it's a given that there will be a rising shortage of housing with our history of jobs and those moving to our area for well over a century. We are confident we made the right choice for our situation.
We are eternally grateful to Jacob and his family for their ethical standards and quality workmanship. They provided a gorgeous house that is now our forever home. We are again grateful and blessed.
